Brave Little Toaster Hair

It took a lot of self-encouragement and humming to convince myself not to stop hiking the 10 miles down the Grand Canon. It was intense but the Havasupai Falls were worth it. This is 'intense hiking Halen' look.

There was also some trepidation when we signed the papers to our first car together a few months ago. We love our little Passat Wagon, and I'm still considering names for him/her/it if you have suggestions.

But the most scary thing this year?
The decision to go for the scissors.

i think you're adorable, of course, but what does a toaster have to do with fringe or bangs? (hey, it's tough being geriatric sometimes ;)
