Green Things
My gardening excitement has begun. I am planning out my garden for the spring, and I am so excited I can hardly decide what I want in there! I picked up a bunch of books from the library and stopped by a local seed store this morning. It will certainly be an adventure, as Matteo had prepared my garden last year, and I pretty much just got to reap the benefits of all of his hard work. I will be starting from scratch this year. Whew!
But I have encouragement. These little guys popped up this week. I definitely was hopping and squealing when I found them. They are planted outside of our picture window in our kitchen. It will be yellow daffodil and crocus glory in the next month or two.

I share in your excitement friend! It was always daffodils and tulips that made me feel life was new again. Seeing that little green sprout that you kind of forgot about all winter poke it's new baby head out and say, "My friend! I'm here, wanna play?" The only unfortunate thing is, here the climate is so mild that I have to dig up my bulbs in the fall and give them a manufactured "winter chill."
Spring is just around the corner!
