Green Smoothie

I'm not typically an early morning blogger, but I've got to share my first ever green smoothie. All because I had a bunch of spinach in my friend (thanks Alexis). It is so good, and there's something about drinking green chunks of vegetables and fruit that make me feel like my day is off to a great start. My recipe was fairly thrown together, and probably too sugary. But it was a good start.

 Any other favorite green smoothie recipes out there? I'd love to hear them...

1.5 cups spinach
1.5 cups mixed tropical fruit (in natural juices)
1 c water
1 c low sugar orange juice

It is beautiful! I love green foods especially when they are not typically green like smoothies or cakes etc! This would be perfect for St. Patrick's Day!!

yay for green smoothies!! We have one every morning for breakfast. Try it with oranges, bananas and a tiny bit of vanilla extract. I can't wait for all the summer fruit!
