Joy to the World!

A favorite verse or two from my favorite Christmas carol, Joy to the World.
What a declaration of the Kingdom of God! I love especially the line proclaiming that sin, sorrow and thorns no longer rule, but that his blessings are abundant. As oversung many carols can be, and jaded by their placement in shopping malls, I still love them and their message. How am I preparing room in my heart for the coming of the King? Am I look for his rule of truth and grace?

I've been helping coordinate and plan our Christmas Eve service this year, and we will be joyfully caroling this song, with the help of a small children's choir! All are welcome.
The Fellowship-Sandy, Christmas Eve, 6pm.
615 East 9800 South, Sandy.

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven and nature sing,
And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love
