Obsessions, Favorites, and Admirations

I was tagged by Lindsey Lou….

What's your current obsession? Planning my ever-evolving garden, making trips to the grocery store, making friends in Provo and Orem.

What's your weirdest obsession? I hoard my Oreos. When I run I have to have specific stopping and starting points. Not sure if these are obsessions or quirky Halenism.

What are you wearing today? Wide-legged grey trousers, cobalt blue feminine flowy top and a cardigan. Church temperature never follows the outside temperature.

Why is today special? Because we’re hanging out with Hope and Tim, and we miss them.

What would you like to learn to do? Wake up with enough time to eat breakfast, spend time with God, and exercise? Another day…

What's for dinner today? We have Philosophy Group at our house tonight, so odds are we will forget to eat, and then accidentally eat chips and salsa for dinner later.

What's the last thing you bought? Contact solution. Boring. Last thing I wish I bought was tomato plants. Maybe tomorrow.

What's your favorite weather? Cool summer nights when you have to wear a sweatshirt, or sunshine with a breeze. Colorado was really perfect when it came to weather.

What's your most challenging goal right now? Seriously, it’s just to exercise regularly. But for whatever reason I have a lack of dedication to my healthy. C’mon girl!

What do you think about the person who tagged you? I’ve had a girl crush on Lindsey for several years. We might a long time ago through a mutual dear-hearted friend, and quickly decided that we were ‘new best friends.’ She quickly moved to California. I didn’t take it personally, but thanks to the blogging world, I get to be inspired by her creativity, her awe for nature, her beautiful construction of words, and jealous by her painting skills. Love you new-old-bf!

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Ireland or Spain. Maybe more Spain though, in the Granada area.

Favorite vacation spot? New York City has been a new fun vacation spot, but England will always hold a special place in my heart – only there do you get to take train rides that transport you to another bookish world with cobble stones, rolling hills and the hopeful appearance of Mr Darcy.

What would you like to have in your hands right now? Oreos and milk

What would you like to get rid of? Junk. For some reason I think I’m going to want to use it later. I never do. And I never wear the clothes that I save for next year.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? Vegas, to see my brother.

What's your favorite thing about the city you live in? New friends and neighbors.

If you had $150 now what would you spend it on? Cooking class

Do you admire anyone's style? I love Jill Carter style. I love Becky Ros style. I love Kate Hudson style. Her baby boobs are inspiring.

Describe your personal style. Hard to say. On my own, I’m a classic dresser. With Asher in the picture, I am a bit more trendy. In my mind, and in my heart of hearts, it’s a little uncool, lots of sundresses and bandanas and unmatchy matchy things. I still don’t know how to match shoes to an outfit.

Who is someone your heart is missing right now? Carol Pettigrew. And Sarah Semchuch. Dang, Groover.

What are three live shows that you have seen? My parents paid for my brother and I to go see Cats for his birthday when it came through SLC. It was fun. He is fun.

I'm assuming I'm Becca OB and not an Obstetrician with the same first name. How fun! I'll have to work on this later today or tomorrow morning.
