Kitchen Aid Sob Story

I hate typing out "Kitchen Aid" every time, and now that Becca has named hers, I feel that I should do the same, even if it makes me a copy cat. Any ideas?

I was practicing making home baked goodies to decide what I want to send to my friend Kim for her birthday. That's right Kimmie...you're even getting a few practice rounds.  I found a delicious recipe for scones that I wanted to try. They looked delicious (just like the picture, actually), steamy and crumbly out of the oven. But, good scones require certain ingredients. And certain ingredients like sugar, certainly make or break a recipe. Forgetting to add sugar altogether makes for salty scones. Dipped in sweetened black tea, drizzled in honey and jam, they are still good. But not great. I will try again. Next time Halen, don't forget key ingredients.

It's a great recipe.  I only used 2 oranges, since I didn't have 6 on hand, and it still was orange-y and wonderful. I didn't separate all the scones like Martha orders - instead I plopped the dough on my baking sheet in a general round shape, cut it like a pizza, drizzled it with cream and baked. They looked really pretty and it didn't take as much as work.
