Night of the Calzones

We had a fun sleepover last weekend with our dear friends Josh and Becky Rosenthal. It was actually Josh, Asher and I's 7 year friendship anniversary. A lot of changes since our first date at Coldstone Creamery... like I got demoted to the backseat and became the third wheel to the two of them. Josh is very close to graduating after a long stretch of schooling; we both have celebrated 3 wedding anniversaries, bought homes that we love and still have indefinite "5 year plans" for having kiddos.  We've had lots of hot tub dates, movie nights, breakfasts in and dinners together. I love these two tremendously and am so thankful that we live within an hour of each other now! Here's to lifelong friends that I cherish.

Becky and I surprised the boys with a meaty meal, as Asher has been complaining for meat in every meal as of late. (A demand I'm not giving into...) I used dough prepared from my Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day cookbook. We made up our own delicious filling. Quite the feast!
