Green Thumb?

So I have made attempts to further my womanhood - planting a vegetable garden. Liz and I visited the Boulder Farmers Market last Saturday and the gardening has begun. Unfortunately, I think I have already killed two tomato plants. (I could blame Toby since he bombarded our fence and snuck in, but I'm pretty sure he was scared of the tomato cages.) I'm hoping with more watering and better soil, they will liven up. I have high hopes for my basil and cilantro plants, the chives, and for my bell peppers. Those are all looking perky. However my squash, zuchinni and cucumber are questioning their existence. There are three other tomato plants that look like they are really trying. They must know how badly I want fresh cherry tomatoes for my salmon, or roma tomatoes for fresh salsa, or slices of thick red goodness sandwiched with mozzerella and basil. I am hopeful, but I'm seriously praying for my tomato plants.

So far, so good you guys. Nothing is dead, except for the cilantro. And perhaps the squash. But the tomatoes are still in it for the long haul. I will keep you updated.
